摘要: Neuronal progenitor cells cultured on gold-coated glass surfaces modified by different chemical functional groups, including hydroxyl (-OH), carboxyl (-COOH), amino (-NH2), bromo (-Br), mercapto (-SH), - Phenyl and methyl (-CH3), were studied here to investigate the influence of surface chemistry cells’ adhesion, morphology, proliferation gene expression. Focal adhesion staining indicated in initial culture stage exhibited morphological changes response groups. Cells -NH2 grafted displayed focal plaque flattened morphology had largest contact area. However, their counter parts -CH3 no rounded smallest After 6 days culture, trend was as follows: > -SH> -COOH> Br -OH> -CH3. To determine neural properties affected chemistry, expression glutamate decarboxylase (GAD67), nerve growth factor (NGF) brainderived neurotrophic (BDNF) characterized. An increase GAD67 observed -NH2, -COOH -SH surfaces, while NGF BDNF any surfaces. These results highlight importance fate determination neuronal cells, suggest that must be considered design biomaterials for tissue engineering.
