摘要: Aqueous extracts of 35 medicinal plants from different families were tested for their antimicrobial potential against six important phytopathogenic micro-organisms viz. Pseudomonas syringae, Xanthonomonas axonopodis, Rhizoctonia solani, Aspergillus flavus, fumigatus and nidulans, causing considerable yield loss. Among the tested, aqueous 16 have recorded significant antibacterial antifungal one or other species tested. Findings present study conclude that antimicrobials plant origin are responsible reduction in bacterial fungal pathogens, thus, they prove to be good sources bioactive compounds. However, further experiments currently progress isolate purify active antimicrobials.
