摘要: This paper proposes a control-oriented multiple input output (MIMO) model for class of laser aided powder deposition (LAPD) processes. First, the various components multi-physics LAPD processes are briefly reviewed including laser-powder interaction, heat transfer with phase change, fluid flow and surface deformation. The difficulty capturing these nonlinear, coupled, spatio-temporal multi-physical interactions via lumped parameter modeling is highlighted. Then, new MIMO derived in Hammerstein form by concatenating linearized dynamics coupled nonlinear relationships from mass balance considerations. captures power scanning speed as inputs deposited layer height melting pool temperature outputs.
