摘要: Abstract This study assessed the climate and trend of cyclone activity in Canada using mainly occurrence frequency deepening events rates, which were derived from hourly mean sea level pressure data observed at 83 Canadian stations for up to 50 years (1953–2002). Trends estimated by logistic regression analysis, trends seasonal extreme intensity, linear analysis. The results analysis show that, among four seasons, winter has shown most significant trends. It become significantly more frequent, durable, stronger lower Arctic, but less frequent weaker south, especially along southeast southwest coasts.
