Comparison of Green and Lowtran Radiation Schemes with a Discrete Ordinate Method UV Model

摘要: Abstract— Using the same input parameters for calculations, Green and Lowtran codes calculating UV irradiances were compared to discrete ordinate method (DOM) model by Stamnes et al, which was used as a reference. The comparisons performed at 305 380 nm different ozone concentrations, aerosol optical depths absorption characteristics. No obvious dependencies on depth, single scattering albedo or column found ratio of code DOM model. At agrees with within 10%, whereas shows discrepancies ±25%. 10% higher values than low zenith angles up 80% lower between 60 80°. 60% small large angles.
