摘要: Patients with Parkinson's disease (PD) typically present motor symptoms, but several non-motor such as cognitive impairment, autonomic dysfunction and neuropsychiatric are usually also present, when adequately looked for. The objective of this paper is to provide an up-to-date, comprehensive review the influence affective disorders, mainly depression apathy, on functioning PD patients. Reviewed empirical findings suggest that, although apathy have differential neurobiological bases in PD, both associated increased risk especially executive functions, clinical population. potential other anxiety alexithymia, patients actually almost unknown needs further investigation. implication these that best assessment management should include neuropsychological evaluations presence symptoms disturbances features be investigated caregivers.
