摘要: Bronchus-associated lymphoid tissue (BALT) is occasionally found in the lungs of mice and humans; however, its role respiratory immunity unknown. Here we show that lacking spleen, lymph nodes Peyer's patches generate unexpectedly robust primary B- T-cell responses to influenza, which seem be initiated at sites induced BALT (iBALT). Areas iBALT have distinct B-cell follicles areas, support T proliferation. The homeostatic chemokines CXCL13 CCL21 are expressed independently TNFα lymphotoxin formation. In addition, with iBALT, but peripheral organs, clear influenza infection survive higher doses virus than do normal mice, indicating immune generated not only protective, potentially less pathologic, systemic responses.
