摘要: Kinematic data were collected on two groups of children with diagnoses idiopathic toe-walking and mild spastic diplegia. Although both lacked a heel strike at initial contact, distinct gait patterns found. The toe-walkers displayed variable pattern ankle motion moderate to severe plantarflexion stance. cerebral palsy patients showed repeatable only minimal deviation from normal. absence in this group is due the sustained knee flexion terminal swing which was significantly greater than toe-walkers.
