摘要: Small RNAs (sRNAs) are short noncoding that play roles in many biological processes, including drought responses plants. However, how the expression of sRNAs dynamically changes with gradual imposition stress plants is largely unknown. We generated time-series sRNA sequence data from maize ( L.) seedlings under (DS) and well-watered (WW) conditions at same time points. Analyses length, functional annotation, abundance 736,372 nonredundant both DS WW data, as well genome copy numbers corresponding genomic regions, revealed distinct patterns organization for different classes. The analysis identified 6646 whose regulation was altered response to stress. Among drought-responsive sRNAs, 1325 showed transient downregulation by seventh day, coinciding visible symptoms profiles microRNAs, other originated ribosomal (rRNAs), splicing small nuclear RNAs, nucleolar (snoRNA). Expression their derivers indicated snoRNAs might a regulatory role through regulating stability rRNAs condition.
