摘要: Abstract We newly design a high-entropy-alloy(HEA)-cored multi-layered sheet (MLS) containing AISI 304 stainless steel (STS) surface layers (HEA/STS MLS) by using commercial roll-bonding procedure, and property-enhancing mechanisms such as TWinning Induced Plasticity (TWIP), TRansformation (TRIP), geometrically necessary dislocation (GND) generation were analyzed. This MLS well satisfied rule of mixtures because the HEA STS strongly bonded to show similar deformation TWIP TRIP at both room cryogenic temperatures. The layer demonstrated synergic effects homogenization maximization with layers. In particular, very high strain hardening persistent elongation (about 50%) tensile strength over 1.5 GPa are quite unique interesting results they have not been reported in FCC-based areas yet. Our findings also demonstrate that HEA-cored fabrication can be an attractive route new strategy for applications.
