摘要: The vole, Microtus agrestis, was chosen for this study of mast cells during early pregnancy because species does not show spontaneous estrous cycles. Mast cell numbers in the uterus are known to vary cycle some (rat, cow, Syrian hamster). changes vole could reflect hormonal which had occurred a preceding cycle. (myometrium, endometrium, and mesometrial triangle) ear skin were examined at 0 hours (virgin, estrus) 24, 48, 72 96 postcoitum (p.c.). stain used 0.06% toluidine blue 0.12 M Michaelis's veronal acetate-hydrochloric acid buffer pH 4.5. number observed significantly affected when nondehydrating fixative routinely ( Helly 's solution) substituted by dehydrating (Carnoy's solution without chloroform). myometrium decreased from p.c. increased There no significant variation endometrium. triangle 48 An increase mesometrium.
