摘要: Phylogenetic techniques were used to estimate and reconstruct advertisement calls at ancestral nodes. These investigate the degree of preference female tungara frogs (Physalaemus pustulosus) for both extant calls. Females did not discriminate between males their own species most recent node. They also recognized three four nodes as signals appropriate mates. Both shared history, call convergence might differentially influence preferences.
