Defective Immune and Phagocytic Functions in Uraemia and Renal Transplantation

摘要: The humoral, cellular and neutrophil responses of uraemic patients maintained by haemodialysis were compared with those renal transplant recipients. Humoral immunity was reduced only in the group. Cell-mediated abnormal both groups but more decreased group studied particularly within 3 months transplantation. bactericidal capacities defective immunity, fatal infections occurred patterns over 40 years age combined defects. No single test predictive graft survival patients. depressed immune uraemia, degree seen immunosuppressed recipient, may explain better prognosis transplants other organ transplants.
