Analysis on the LSP and shell modes of a silver-strip plasmonic nanolaser

摘要: We consider the two-dimensional (2-D) problem of H-polarized electromagnetic eigenmodes that can exist on a silver nanostrip placed in centre an active shell form circular quantum wire (QW). Both lasing mode frequency and associated threshold value material gain QW are extracted from eigenvalue (LEP). It is found nanostrip-based laser emit visible light several localized surface plasmon (LSP) modes also “shell modes” or polariton perturbed by strip.
