All gradable were assessed for presence macular oedema using International Clinical Diabetic Retinopathy Severity Scale Macular Oedema scale, respectively. Two hundred fourteen eyes from 107 examined during period, all whom 2 mellitus. present 53.3% (114/214) eyes, 14.5% having proliferative 7.5% severe non-proliferative retinopathy. Also, 25.2% (54/214) some evidence 11.7% (25/214) requiring treatment. A statistically significant relationship existed diagnosis severity both (p < 0.001) (p = 0.031). Blood more than 150/85 mmHg associated higher levels (p = 0.03) (p = 0.02). comprehensive programme is much needed given high disease.
