摘要: Lung cancer is the leading cause of deaths in world. Disease stage most relevant factor influencing mortality. Unfortunately, patients are still diagnosed at an advanced and their five-year survival rate only 4%. Thus, it to identify novel drugs that can improve treatment options for lung cancer. Natural products have been important source discovery new compounds with pharmacological potential including antineoplastic agents. We previously isolated a prenylated benzophenone (7-epiclusianone) from Garcinia brasiliensis (Clusiaceae) has several biological properties antiproliferative activity against cell lines. In continuation our studies, present work aimed investigate mechanisms involved 7-epiclusianone A549 cells. Our data showed reduced viability cells concentration-dependent manner (IC50 16.13 ± 1.12 μM). Cells were arrested G1/S transition apoptosis was induced. addition, we observed morphological changes cytoskeleton disorganization consequence treatment. Taken together, results cycle arrest main mechanism 7-epiclusianone. promising open up prospect using this compound further anticancer vivo studies.
