摘要: The objective of this study was to determine the effect cryopreservation on morphometrics characteristic Brahman and their crossbred bull sperm heads. Five ejaculates were collected from 4 bulls diluted at 30°C in a skim milk-egg yolk extender. Two microscope slides prepared single extended samples prior freezing nitrogen vapors, another one after thawing, smears as described above. All air dried stained with Hemacolor®. Sperm-head dimensions for minimum 150 heads/samples analysed each sample by means Sperm-Class Analyser® (SCA), mean measurements recorded. A GLM procedure performed evaluate head morphometric dimensions. Bull heads significantly (P<0.001) smaller frozenthawed spermatozoa than length (9.00 µm vs. 9.43 µm), width (4.82 5.13 perimeter (32.46 33.69 µm) area (36.20 39.97 ) all bulls. Also, differences found within whole parameters. individual variability across ranged 5.9% 10.2% fresh thawed samples, respectively. In conclusion, present indicate that semen did affect morphometry reduce among may be indicative resistance process.
