摘要: Within the mediterranean climatic region of California there are diverse types woody plant communities, which include evergreen forests and woodlands, scrubs (chaparral) in addition to a drought deciduous semi-arid scrub (coastal sage). These cover extensive areas (Fig. 1). Certain ecological aspects these communities have been discussed recently compared with homologous other parts world (Naveh, 1967; Mooney Dunn, 1970; et al., Specht, 1969 a,b). studies give general view many environmental relationships ecosystems throughout their extent.
