摘要: Abstract This paper presents a numerical method, based on the finite element approach, for analysis of stress states in cracks during contact. The problem is considered to be two-dimensional, but method also allows three-dimensional cases solved. investigations concern contact between steel roller and rectangular block with known geometry, i.e. surface-breaking perpendicular surface oblique it, parallel located at various depths. Different configurations load relative crack are which correspond quasi-static rolling over block. Normal tangential loads applied. As results, changes shape presented. Diagrams forces following stages shown. Finally, stress-intensity factors K I II calculated presented plots vs. position axis crack. In conclusion, existing hypotheses concerning propagation confirmed, new
