摘要: This chapter describes novel approaches and formulations in the delivery of biologics to central nervous system (CNS). We begin by discussing increasing global burden CNS disorders as well providing an overview current market share pharmaceuticals for indications. then briefly review structure function blood–brain barrier (BBB) discuss a survey U.S. Food Drug Administration (FDA)-approved drugs, followed clinically available strategies, both physical chemical, overcoming BBB. conclude recently developed directions that rely on natural transport pathways, vector-mediated systems, stem cells, nanomaterials.
