摘要: Abstract Highly oriented hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) nanorods and nanotubes array were synthesized via two-step wet chemical route in a highly reactive atmosphere. Optimized annealing parameters (1500 °C for 3 & 6 h.) environment (90% Ar + 10% NH3) responsible these kinds of hierarchical growth. The arrays characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) high-resolution transmission (HR-TEM) structural morphological studies. phase identification composition the prepared Raman energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDXA). present work revealed that h-BN having with average diameter smaller than 630 nm grew along [0001] direction. growth mechanism both was discussed detail. Room temperature UV–Vis absorption further carried out on to investigate their optical properties.
