摘要: Nonoperative management of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture has not been a successful option for those who participate in high-level physical activity. However, there are instances when patients may want to attempt return physically demanding activities with nonoperative rehabilitation an ACL injury. The purpose this commentary is describe guidelines active individuals injuries wish preinjury levels based on the results 2 clinical studies that improved overall success ruptures. A decision-making process selecting appropriate candidates (rehabilitation candidates) described. Individuals classified as if they have no concomitant or mensical damage associated injury, unilateral and meet all 4 following criteria: (1) timed hop test score 80% more uninjured limb, (2) Knee Outcome Survey Activities Daily Living Scale more, (3) global rating knee function 60% (4) than 1 episode giving way since incident injury time testing. meeting criteria candidate undergo intensive program before returning consisting lower extremity muscle strength training, cardiovascular endurance agility sport-specific skill training using balance perturbations
