摘要: Mass transfer to microparticles in agitated vessels was measured experimentally establish both the turbulent and asymptotic molecular diffusion contributions. Prior studies specifically focused on transport microparticles, defined as those whose size is comparable or smaller than Kolmogoroff minimum eddy size, are limited. Further, some cases, earlier work that a value for Sherwood number of less 2 could be obtained.
