摘要: OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the yielding of chest computed tomography in comparison with mediastinoscopy for detection mediastinal nodal metastases patients bronchial carcinoma, and identifying most problematic regions. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We have analyzed 195 comparing findings biopsy. RESULTS: As regards metastasis, 33.9% presented peribronchial and/or ipsilateral hilar metastases, 46.1% subcarinal 20% contralateral hilar, scalenic or supraclavicular metastatic disease. Higher sensitivity values were found following regions: right tracheobronchial, upper paratracheal, left paratracheal. specificity paratracheal tracheobronchial. CONCLUSION: Chest has shown to be an important diagnostic tool lymph nodes abnormalities. However, neoplastic nature such should confirmed by means even thoracotomy, aiming at making correct decision regarding treatment non-small cell lung cancer.
