摘要: Abstract Alginate solution (3%, w/v) was prepared using deionized water from its powder. Then the exposed to gamma radiation (0.1−25 kGy). The alginate films were by casting. It found that has strong effect on solution. At low doses, mechanical strength of improved but after 5 kGy dose, started decrease. mechanism radiolysis in aqueous is discussed. Film formation not possible at doses >5 kGy. properties such as puncture (PS), deformation (PD), viscoelasticity ( Y ) coefficient un-irradiated investigated. values PS, PD and 333 N/mm, 3.20 mm 27%, respectively. beads 3% (w/v) ionotropic gelation method 5% CaCl 2 rate gel swelling irradiated alginate-based (up 0.5 kGy).
