摘要: With the use of optical traps it is possible to confine assemblies colloidal particles in two-dimensional and quasi-one-dimensional arrays. Here we examine how rearrange a trap with time dependent confining potential. The particle motion occurs both through slow elastic uniaxial distortions as well abrupt large-scale avalanches associated plastic rearrangements. During velocity distributions extend over broad range can be fit power law consistent other studies events mediated by dislocations.
