摘要: Ligamentous injuries of the ankle joint are among most common in sports, with landing on opponent's foot or direct contact counting injury mechanisms. Initial measures notably include a clinical examination, supplemented by X-rays, sonography MRI as required. In cases, conservative treatment is choice. At beginning, pain and swelling have to be reduced. Then function must regained before patients may return sports after return-to-play test. Some patterns more complex concomitant injuries, despite all success treatment, certain cases remain preserve surgery. Not only downtime athletes, severity long-term damage chronic functional limitations, but also associated costs for suggest recommendation that should not underestimated adequate selected.
