Research progress on discretization of linear canonical transform

摘要: Linear canonical transformation (LCT) is a generalization of the Fourier transform and fractional transform. The recent studies have shown that LCT widely used in optics, signal processing applied mathematics, discretization becomes vital for applications LCT. Since cannot be obtained by directly sampling time domain domain, focus investigation recently. Based on development history discretization, review important research progress current situation presented this paper. Meanwhile, connection among different algorithms future direction are given. It great reference value researchers to fully understand method can further promote its engineering applications.
