摘要: Topolnitsa Reservoir is located in a region of Bulgaria rich copper mines where intensive mining has been ongoing for several decades. General data on the ecological status reservoir and effects metal on fish is relatively scarce. The first aim study was to measure the concentrations six metals (As, Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb Zn) water samples and gills European perch (Perca fluviatilis L.). second objective examine gill structure determine severity histological alteration as result exposure. Surface samples were collected spring, summer autumn 2012 histological analyses performed. Metal water varied, but only Cu determined all three seasons they higher than maximum permissible levels. gill significantly (P<0.05) water. Examination revealed presence proliferative degenerative changes, well changes blood vessels. Histological lesions similar their three seasons. This study provides information about morphology of from Reservoir. It can be concluded that contamination chronic that it negatively affect function gills. As metals display tendency accumulate gills, are expected to become more severe with time, functions.
