摘要: Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) are that do not encode proteins but instead carry out their functions at the RNA level. During past decade, ncRNAs have been recognized as major regulators in organisms representing all kingdoms of life. Despite recent discovery, these involved vital processes ranging from cell differentiation and organism development to virulence stress responses. To exert important functions, affect e.g. chromatin modification, destabilization, inhibition translation, protein translocation. Their sizes diverse varying ~20 nucleotides up several thousands nucleotides. The social amoeba Dictyostelium discoideum has for many years an appreciated model system development, infection, chemotaxis, its largely unexplored. In this thesis, experimental well computational approaches were employed investigate ncRNA profile genetically tractable organism. identified include classes with homologs other organisms, such small nucleolar RNAs, spliceosomal interfering a large number entirely novel RNAs. This thesis further establishes attractive discerning regulation.
