摘要: Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the reliability and validityof Farsi version Toronto Alexithymia Scale-20 in a sample opioidsubstance use disordered patients. Methods: 321 substance dependent patients (287 male, 34 female)participated study. All participants were asked complete theFarsi (FTAS-20), EmotionalIntelligence Scale (EIS-41), Mental Health Inventory (MHI). In orderto examine internal consistency FTAS-20, Cronbach's alphacoefficients calculated for entire sample. Pearson's correlationcoefficient used estimate test-retest alexithymiadimensions. To concurrent validity series ofzero-order correlations conducted between FTAS-20 subscales, emotional intelligence mental health variables. Confirmatory FactorAnalysis (CFA) utilized test three-factor structure FTAS-20. Results: consistency, reliability, validity, and TAS-20 forsubstance users supported by findings. Conclusions: factors found TAS-20, aresimilar three Bagby, Parker andTaylor; accordingly labeled as Difficulty Identifying Feelings(DIF), Describing Feelings (DDF) Externally-Oriented Thinking(EOT). results provide evidence applicability itscross-cultural validity.
