摘要: Publisher Summary The computational quality-of-service infrastructure is motivated by large-scale scientific simulations based on partial differential equations, with emphasis multimethod linear solvers in the context of parallel fluid dynamics (CFD). chapter presents a component that supports performance monitoring, analysis, and adaptation important numerical kernels, such as nonlinear system solvers. defines simple, flexible interface for implementation adaptive solver heuristics, also provides components check pointing, gathering data, which are managed through two types databases. first created destroyed during runtime stores data code segments interest, well various application-specific events currently running application instance. second database persistent contains from applications different instances same application. This can contain information derived offline analysis raw data. describes prototype this illustrates its applicability to heuristics used driven cavity flow simulation code.
