摘要: Pressure gradients created by the adiabatic convection of magnetospheric plasma cannot completely explain observed distribution at planetary scale region 2 field-aligned currents. The contribution particle loss processes is evaluated. assumption a strong pitch-angle diffusion for both ions and electrons shown to provide estimates comparable fluxes soft precipitations. efficiency ion charge exchange generally found be weak relative precipitation.
