摘要: The purpose of this study was to investigate daily variations in cortisol levels for West African Dwarf goats based on parameters which are: age, coat colour the animal, sex animal. Sixteen animals were employed total consisting 8 bucks and does. Stress is defined as a physiologic response events perceived potentially or actually threatening integrity body. Serum, saliva urine has been extensively used stress indicator many mammalian species. experiment carried out 3 consecutive days, twice i.e. 7a.m 7p.m. Plasma collected from sample assessed via radioimmunoassay (RIA) their individual levels. data then analysed using repeated measure analysis SAS. results suggest that production are not dependent gender dwarf goats. result also suggests diurnal variations.
