摘要: We suggest a new explanation for the lack of auditory response to electric stimulation in children with cochlear implants: very narrow internal canal, 1 2 mm diameter, and probable absence nerve. This defect can be seen on high-resolution computed tomographic x-ray studies may represent aplasia auditory-vestibular report eight this anomaly, three whom have received implants failed respond sensation sound.
