摘要: OBJECTIVE: The purpose of the study was to determine impact filmless operation on relative frequency in-person consultations in radiology department between radiologists and clinicians. CONCLUSION: transition at Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center associated with an 82% reduction consultation rate for general radiography a 44% cross-sectional imaging despite increase volume studies. major reason this decrease convenient access current prior images provided by PACS (picture archiving communication system). Radiology departments contemplating should prepare clinicians shift from being mostly person conducted more through electronic forms communication.
