摘要: ABSTRACT Michigan stream fish and macroinvertebrate community data from multiple sources were combined to conduct a statewide assessment of riverine ecological condition. Using regionally normalized metrics correct for methodological inconsistencies natural variation statistically based scoring criteria, about 50% all sampled sites in expected or better condition, 30% ecologically impaired, 20% marginal. Structural Equation Modeling with this regional dataset indicated that land use effects more important than point-source discharges.
