摘要: Abstract The nonlinear dynamic behavior and energy dissipation of a built-up structure are often attributable to the contact interfaces between subcomponents structure. Due lack direct measurement techniques for jointed interfaces, local kinematic behaviors inside not well understood. Additionally, part-to-part variability interface (such as surface curvature, roughness, geometric features, residual stress) significantly affects structural dynamics and, therefore, introduces uncertainty in measured response In this paper, is by digital image correlation (DIC) during shaker excitation at first two resonant frequencies 10 different perturbations same assembled For these perturbations, curvature varied represent typical manufacturing variations. Experimental validation shows that DIC method able measure slip separation with resolution up 0.23 μm reported experiments. properties system characterized via impact hammer test. mode structure, (clapping) microslip observed; additionally, second mode, macroslip motions observed. These results challenge multiple assumptions prevalent modeling structures.
