摘要: Although there is a large body of research examining how crime and criminal justice issues are presented in the news, no media construction product counterfeiting little on financial crimes media. The current study fills this gap by comparing representation news This consists content analysis New York Times Wall Street Journal from 2000 to 2009. Data were analyzed identify common patterns across three types fraud: counterfeiting, corporate fraud, tax fraud. results indicate differences sources these used articles. paper concludes with implications for better understanding portrayed as social problem.
