Community Dynamics of Benthic Marine Algae in the Intertidal and Subtidal Rocky Shore of Samyang, Jejudo Island

摘要: Community structure and vertical distribution of benthic marine algae were investigated in the intertidal subtidal rocky shore Samyang, Jejudo Island. The total number 62 algal species composed 6 Cyanophyta, Chlorophyta, 19 Phaeophyta, 31 Rhodophyta observed. dominant melobesioidean algae, Sargassum thunbergii, Hizikia fusiformis, Ulva pertusa zone pertusa, Corallina spp., Undaria pinnatifida zone. was represented by whole shore, Caulacanthus ustulatus upper zone, thunbergii fusiformis middle lower prinnatifida composition pattern present study significantly different from previous reports. Especially, crustose coralline extended.
