摘要: Nutraceuticals are powerful instruments for the maintenance and improvement of human health acting against nutritionally induced acute and/or chronic diseases, promoting a higher quality life. Its beneficial therapeutic properties need to be exploited improvement. Profit on nutraceutical benefits still behind their potential because low intake, poor absorption rate by gastrointestinal tract due its bioavailability, dependent chemical instability regarding pH, oxygen, temperature, adsorption food constituent, others. Some these constraints can overcome using micro- nanoencapsulation techniques that bring industry new delivery systems enrich foods beverages with nutraceuticals. Micro- nutraceuticals provide variety advantages stability, performance in vitro vitro, enhancing bioavailability biological activity. Nanocarriers, as nanoemulsions, liposomes, lipid polymeric nanoparticles, micelles cyclodextrins described along application delivery.
