摘要: We conducted larval and adult fish surveys on the southern flank of Georges Bank during spring two years (1990 1995) with contrasting physical conditions. employed canonical correspondence analysis (CCA) to examine relationships between variables spatial distribution pelagic ichthyoplankton. Surface temperature bottom temperature, vertical stratification were significant factors affecting distributions, there groups species similar responses these variables. There also consistent squid abundances distributions. Pelagic ichthyoplankton hydrographic had high overlap, variation in regimes modulated strength this interaction. squids are potentially important predators both juvenile Bank. Hydrographic structure modulates degree overlap therefore likely influences predator–prey interactions.
