摘要: Abstract The effectiveness of supercritical water oxidation (SCWO) process for the simultaneous recovery chromium and destruction organics from liquid crystal display (LCD) manufacturing wastewater was investigated. experiments were performed in an isothermal continuous-flow tubular reactor H2O2 used as oxidant. reaction temperatures ranged 400 to 605 °C residence times 15 31 s at a fixed pressure 25 MPa. effect temperature, oxidant concentration time on chemical oxygen demand (COD) conversion results this study demonstrated that SCWO recovered decreased up 99.3% 99.9%, respectively. analyses showed are oxide (α-HCrO2 Cr2O3). is effective technique simultaneously recovering hazardous LCD wastewater. Our there two consequent reactions, (hydrolysis) followed by organic decomposition (oxidation). can be achieved without major decomposition.
