摘要: The in vitro transformation of hamster embryo fibroblasts by herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) after exposure the to UV irradiation is described. Cell was induced 2 out 12 strains HSV-1 that were tested for transforming potential. Cells transformed KOS strain not oncogenic when injected into newborn Syrian hamsters. However, cells 14-012 tumors 47% hamsters injected. HSV-specific antigens found cytoplasm both strains. Sera from tumor-bearing contained HSV-1- and HSV-2-neutralizing antibodies as well which reacted specifically with HSV indirect immunofluorescence technique. Hamster oncornavirus detected methods. These observations represent first evidence potential HSV-1.
