摘要: Abstract Mesoporous carbon of cubic structure was functionalized with ethylamine, ethylenediamine, diethylenetriamine and triethylenetetramine at 40 °C for 8 h. The mesostructure textural parameters the new materials were determined by X-ray diffraction low-temperature nitrogen sorption techniques. functional groups present on surface samples identified FT-IR thermogravimetric studies. Functionalization mesoporous led to reduction area pore volume as well an increase in mean diameter. micropores/small mesopores can be blocked attached amino groups. We found that after functionalization mesostructural regularity still maintained. A key element study a series adsorption tests solophenyl red 3BL polyazo dye onto amine-functionalized carbons from aqueous solutions. influence process time, concentration adsorbate, pH temperature efficiency analyzed. modified amine show much higher capacities towards than pure carbon. It is results formation large number positive sites interact anionic adsorbate. kinetics follow closely pseudo-second-order kinetic model. intraparticle diffusion model suggested not only one rate-controlling step. spontaneous endothermic process.
