摘要: This paper provides a briefdescription ofthe rationale behindsteady-state modelling, and implementation ECOPATHII software system, system for straightforward construction, parametrization, balancing of steady-state trophic models of(aquatic) ecosystems. is written MS DOS computers available as public domain from the ICLARM Software Project. ECOPATHIIis structured around systemoflinear equations initially proposed by J.J. Polovina coworkers. Also, it incorporates routines computation several maturity network flow indices various theoretical ecologists, notably Odum brothers R.E. Ulanowicz.
