摘要: Abstract Coupled shear-flow tests were conducted on two artificial rock fractures with natural fracture characteristics under constant normal loading boundary conditions. Numerical simulations using the 3-D Navier–Stokes equations taking account of inertial effects fluid void space geometry models obtained from coupled tests. The test and numerical simulation results show that evolutions geometrical hydraulic exhibit a three-stage behavior. Transmissivity certain within is related to Reynolds number flow due fluid, which can be represented by equations, but cannot some simplified such as cubic law, equation or Stokes equations. mechanical aperture usually larger than back-calculated measured rate, difference between them found strongly fractures. A mathematical proposed describe relation means ratio standard deviation local its mean value, slope surface number.
