摘要: Rare or endangered tree species are important components of forest ecosystems and play a crucial role in management conservation. Understanding what influences their presence is critical for managers, conservationists planners. This study presents results comprehensive inventory the site characteristics Vietnamese Cat Ba National Park (CBNP). An adaptive cluster sampling technique was applied to effect human disturbance, soil properties, terrain conditions on IUCN Red List (all individuals > 5 cm diameter at breast height) three strictly protected areas CBNP, which have varying levels isolation. Data from 239 sample plots (500 m2 each) were analyzed. Tree recorded during assigned two categories: other. Our showed that differed along with species. more frequently found less favorable soils (low depth) pronounced slopes higher rock surface area (%). However, there no indication existing information autecology different hosting ones favored by species, even contrary some. Although direct signs activity (paths, animal traps) could not be related data suggest accessibility sites strong negative driver We conclude protection forests Island should stricter allow grow under appropriate conditions, then would studying ecology detail. further deriving precise recommendations future protection.
