摘要: This cross sectional study measured the prevalence of Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) in textile industries Dar Es Salaam city and Morogoro municipality. Data were collected from 125 employees randomly selected each factory mill region through structured questionnaires audiogram studies. The data statistically analysed using Epi info 7 package. Descriptive analysis was done to derive NIHL among regardless their exposure status. A logistic regression test used intepret results. sampling also section outcome compared Tanzania Bureau Standards requirements for workplace noise. findings indicates that overall is 17.6% (95% CI 13.1-22.9%, n=250). 19.2% (n=125) 16% (n=125). levels found be above allowable limits (85 99 dBA). It privatisation mills hugely affected performance thus there a need explore more health workers keep records even when transfer ownership as well career change.
