Large peripheral cystic schwannomas. Two case reports and a review.

摘要: Two patients presented with benign cystic schwannomas, which originated from the brachial plexus and sciatic nerve, respectively. The tumours were single, egg-shaped growths that excised completely without damage to nerve. Histopathological examination confirmed diagnosis of encapsulated, cystic, schwannomas. Preoperative magnetic resonance imaging provided useful information is recommended in evaluation peripheral nerve tumours.
